What educators are saying

My students ask to do these all the time. I like that there is a mix of topics that they can review in a fun competitive way. Thank you!
I have purchased several of these resources. They have never disappointed. They are always fun and engaging. My students always have fun and get disappointed if we don't finish.

Description

I am so excited to share this END OF THE YEAR ELA CHALLENGE I created for your students! You will begin this activity with a short Youtube video that will challenge your students to solve the case of the missing awards. They will have to find out who took them, when they took them, and where they put them. To solve the case, students will work to complete 9 different task cards. The task cards are based on first grade standards in both math and language arts. Once they complete a task card, they will receive a clue. After they have all 9 clues, they will be able to solve the mystery. As a fun culmination, there are popsicle bookmarks in color and black and white. You could even enjoy a popsicle treat too! This is similar to the who dunnit activities. There is also a link to a Google Slides version that you can complete as well.
