End-of-Year Science Journal/Portfolio/Reflection

Need something for the end of the school year in your science class that’s easy to implement? This is a great end-of-year activity to share with your students, so they can reflect on their learning in science class this year! It can also be used as teacher reflection after reading student responses.

This digital journal (portfolio) is available on Google Slides and PowerPoint.

Students reflect on questions AND also add pictures and/or videos into their presentations.

Students are asked the following questions:

•Favorite and least favorite activity

•Favorite vocabulary word

•Favorite concept they learned this year

•Most interesting science concept they learned this year

•Easiest and hardest science concepts covered this year

•Proudest moment in science

•Advice for students next year

•One goal for themselves next year
