What educators are saying

My students loved using this and they all had creative things to teach one another! I used this at the end of the year.
I used this resource the last week of school as a fun activity for the kids. I gave them ample time to prepare their own lesson and they absolutely loved it! I tweeked a few things, but overall appreciated the bulk of the work done for me! Thank you!

Description

This unit is a great end of the year activity. It would be a valuable tool for demonstrating distance learning, by having students video record their lesson as an assignment or assessment. Students can also come up with a lesson that they are an expert in (dancing, taking care of a dog, making rice krispie treats etc.) and then teach the class how to do it. They become the teacher for 15-30 minutes. The lesson comes with all the supplies for any K-6 grade level with differentiated lesson templates, peer evaluations, and self evaluations. The unit even includes a grading rubric for the teacher which is aligned to the K-5 Common Core speaking and listening standards.
