Description
Students from this year's class create a list of "How to Rock This Year!" which you will give to next year's class. This activity is a FUN way for students to connect from year to year, reflect, and receive important advice from a student's perspective. A blank editable page is included so you can create your own topics! You will receive this in both color and black and white. It comes as Google Slides, PowerPoint and PDF. Watch the preview video to see if this resource is right for you. Happy Teaching!
Ideas on how to use this product:
1. Give a copy of this assignment to each student, have them complete it and then give the copy to an incoming student next year.
2. After all of this year's students turn in their reflections, compile the best tips and advice and type it all onto a blank page. That single packet can then be copied and given to next year's class. That way, you are assured that accurate and complete information is being given to next year's students.
3. Pull up one page a day during morning meetings and have the class brainstorm ideas. As they share ideas, you type the ideas onto the page. Use these finished pages to give to next year's class.
4. Think, Pair, Share: Students complete this independently (Think), then join a small group and decide on the top ideas to keep (Pair), then, as a whole class, share the best ideas and those ideas get typed onto a final class copy to be shared with next year's class (Share).
