Your students can work in small groups or pairs to read the employability skills task cards, solve the workplace problems and plan the best solution using the action plan.

How to use the employability skills task cards as part of your employability skills activities unit:

Give pairs of students a copy of the employability skills task cards and have them discuss the workplace problems and plan how they would use problem solving to resolve the problem. Encourage 'if, then' thinking strategies as well as considering more than one alternative to solve the problems. Ask students if they can think of more than one solution to each problem and share their ideas with another pair or group.
