What educators are saying
Description
Thanks for your interest in my Emotions Memory Game. This game is perfect to use throughout the school year. (I have found it to be especially helpful at the first of the year.) This game helps teach children words that enable them to better express their feelings! Great for grades Preschool - 1st, as well as multiple ages of children with special needs.
This download includes:
- 8 printable pages in all
- Color game pieces/playing cards
- 5 differentiated, black & white recording sheets
Print 2 copies of each page containing word cards, cut along dotted lines, and laminate. (Choose the cards that best fit the needs of your students.) Turn cards upside down. Students flip cards over, one at a time, until they make a match! Students can keep track of their matching sets by coloring in or writing each emotion word as they play; five differentiated recording sheets included!
A few other ways I like to use the cards...
{Tip 1} Create a classroom mini book with these cards by printing one copy, cutting along the dotted lines, and placing inside of a 4x6 “brag book” style photo album.
{Tip 2} Create a flip ring to keep near your group meeting or guided reading station. Print, trim, laminate, punch a hole in the upper left corner of each card, and insert a book ring.
These cards can also be used in so many other ways. Be creative & shoot me an email letting me know how you are using them in your classroom.
