What educators are saying

This was perfect to get us through the last couple weeks before Christmas break. Students loved it and laughed!
I was covering for a teacher for a few days around the holidays. I needed a few extra things to do with them. I got this, and they had so much fun changing their voices for the characters. Students came in during us reading it, and they were laughing and enjoying it just as by-standards.

Description

I created "Reindeer Games" to teach my students about the elements of drama in a FUN way around the Christmas holiday! The script incorporates the fun of talking reindeer with teaching about inclusion and standing up to bullies. Think of it as an updated take on the classic "Rudolph" story.

This resource provides everything you need to teach/review the drama genre to your students in the classroom, library, homeschool, drama club, or beyond!

This BEST-SELLING product includes:

  1. Vocabulary Cards: These 11 terms related to dramas are printable for a word wall or cut them apart and use them in a matching game.
  2. "Reindeer Games" Drama Script: This 4-page drama includes a cast of 12 characters, funny yet anti-bullying dialogue, stage directions, and 2 scenes. It's like a modern "Rudolph" story for today's kids.
  3. Elements of Drama Test: 10 questions that assess students' understanding of elements of a drama as well as theme; a couple of multi-select questions will help prepare students for future Common Core standardized tests. Answer Key included.
  4. Standards: 4th and 5th grade CCSS are listed on separate pages.

See the PREVIEW above for an idea of what's included in this FUN resource!
