What educators are saying

my students enjoyed this! it was interactive and the folds were just challenging enough for them to take it seriously !
Great review for the elements of art for upper ele students. They love creating these and I love the options that are included depending on your learners.

Description

Review the elements of art with my art vocabulary game for elementary students. This lesson includes 5 art worksheets, giving you the greatest flexibility to incorporate the elements of art vocabulary terms into your instruction. Use it as a no prep bellringer, fast finisher activity, or art sub plans!

For older grades, I use these elements of art fortune tellers as warm-ups at the beginning of the school year as well as a review at the end of the year.

For the younger grades, I have students define each art vocabulary word as I introduce them. This builds on the review game until all the elements of art are covered. And then we play it!

Each game type includes a color as well as a black-and-white version. I use the color worksheet as a teacher copy and print copies of the black-and-white ones for students. Each review worksheet is labeled as “V1,” “V2,” and so forth at the end of the directions.

Students can work by themselves, in pairs, or at table groups to guess either the name of the element of art or its definition.
