Are you looking for a CI (comprehensible input), TPR, TPRS Spanish curriculum? Do need some time saving lessons that are complete, user friendly and engaging for your students? Are you a traveling Spanish teacher with limited space, time and resources? Do you need something to mix it up a bit within your current lessons/units? Are you feeling overwhelmed by the idea of teaching using TPR or CI methods? Look no further. Our Spanish lesson bundles are part of a growing curriculum that you can use starting today.

This curriculum was developed to help students acquire and retain language by going slow, focusing on high frequency structures and providing lots of opportunities for repetition, repetition, repetition.

You can use the lessons provided in a number of ways:

  1. Add the lesson ideas and activities to your current curriculum to mix things up a little bit.
  2. Start fresh with lesson 1 if you have recently decided to give CI and TPR a try with your upper elementary students.
  3. Begin the year with CI starting in all grade levels.  Yes, you can totally begin lesson 1 with grades 1-6!  This is such a game changer for lesson planning.
  4. Lessons work great for all teachers: Traveling teachers, have-your-own-classroom teachers, on-line teachers or at home teachers.

What will you find in our lesson bundles?

Each lesson bundle builds upon itself. Lessons are formatted to help build routine in class while providing students with something new and interesting to keep them focused on learning Spanish.

Here is how each of our lessons are formatted:

  1. ¡Hola!
  2. Countdown to class: classes start with #s 1-20, in later lessons they will count 1-20 backwards, then eventually count by 10s to 100, count by 100s etc.
  3. Greeting song
  4. Daily routine: I like to start by asking basic questions to my students.  This activity grows organically as we learn about greetings, feelings, calendar, weather, time and adjectives. Your daily routine will begin to have more topics as you continue through the lessons.
  5. Quick review
  6. Vocabulary introduction or key vocabulary review
  7. Use key vocabulary in context: This is often through Q&A, mini stories, acting a story, connection to a song, discussion of images, games, movie talk or clip chat.
  8. Wrap up lessons with a review activity: games, songs or student worksheets.
  9. Student work
  10. ¡Adiós!

Almost everything that we supply through our lesson plans are editable.  Personalize slides and easily increase or change the language being used for any activity. This is also great for when you need to move an activity to the next class.

We really hope that you and your students enjoy these resources.  Check back soon for new lesson bundles or tips/tricks to use the classroom.
