PEDAGOGY
This unit is designed to cater to all students' needs and learning preferences. Inside the unit you will find visual aids and picture sorts for visual learners, song lyrics and stories for auditory learners, and hands-on activities for students that need to create their own understandings.
Lesson plans are written to follow the gradual release model. Students take on more responsibility of their learning as the lesson progress.
Some tasks only require knowledge and understanding, while others require analyzing situations to make decisions and form opinions about concepts.
WILL IT WORK FOR ME?
This is a complete unit. Everything you need to cover your 2nd grade economics standards is inside.
The lesson plans are completely editable. Find them in a simple Word document without any cutesy fonts or clip art. That way, you can easily edit the plans or copy and paste them into your own format.
Do you have district resources that you are required to use? This unit includes a variety of engaging resources that you can integrate with resources that you already have.
