This printable is perfect for ANY election year especially this Presidential Election of 2020. This sheet is perfect for explaining the presidential election process, how the Electoral College works and is interactive and applicable for any year.
I love to use this during the election year and have my students fill out how many electoral votes each state earns, then after completing the map legend we follow along and update our map based on real-time election results.
The majority of the general population doesn't understand how the electoral college works, this worksheet along with the AWESOME video that I have provided a link to provide the perfect way to simply explain the process to your class. I use this as a whole class activity, but this could easily be assigned as homework, used in centers, or even small group rotations.
