Description
These discussion questions compliment the Race to Nowhere 2010 documentary film featuring students, parents and teachers from across the United States discussing their personal experiences in the current education system. The film covers topics on student stress, standardized testing, homework, AP level courses, suicide, eating disorders, etc.
This set of discussion questions allows for students to reflect on the film topics while the video plays or in group/class discussions. The discussion questions can be used for class or group discussions, writing prompts for essays, short answer test questions, or class debates/socratic seminars.
*This product includes the worksheet to accompany the movie only, not any videos. The movie is available to watch on a variety of platforms. Please ensure you can view and present this in your classroom before purchase.
I use this for Education & Training courses such as, Principles of Education & Training, Instructional Practices or Practicum in Education & Training.
