Description

Testing doesn't have to be nerve-wrecking for students! Try out this editable testing letter for parents... created to help parents prepare their children for state and district testing! Guardians will write a letter encouraging their child to try their best on their standardized test! Then seal the letter in a top secret envelope, and give it to students the morning of testing!

The testing letter is editable, so you can share details specific to your classroom testing. Teachers regularly share how EXCITED their students were to show off how much they knew after opening their top secret letter in the morning!

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Print a copy of the testing letter with the correct testing dates and send it home to parents along with any envelope.
  2. Parents or guardians write their child a letter of encouragement to be opened on the morning of the test. Encourage parents to write "Top Secret" on the sealed envelope to build suspense! Parents then send the letter back to you.
  3. Pass out letters on the morning of the test and watch your students faces light up with smiles!

FAQ:

  • What if a student doesn't receive a letter back from their adult?
Choose a special teacher in the school to write them a letter! This could be you, the principal, a speech teacher, etc.
  • How early should I send home the letter?
I recommend giving parents a week to respond.
