Students are graded on Timeliness, Completion, Accuracy, & Labeling. Not all categories have equal weights. This saved me when I was struggling to grade homework on time it really lifted a weight off of my shoulders.
I have weekly homework assignments that are due on Fridays however this rubric will fit almost any Homework-style that you have.
It is both student friendly and teacher friendly, I print copies for students at the beginning of a course and then I grab one of these each week that I go to grade homework.
The rubric calculates to a maximum score of 20 points making it easy to convert to a percentage (if you wanted to). I teach high school and offer my students 2 extra points if they can submit HW into my bin before the bell rings (this is great strategy for preventing cheating and procrastination). Another thing that I do that is not written into the rubric is I don't allow late HW past one week.
Get this while its cheap I've got a feeling this will sale a lot and I will raise the price.
