Editable OOPS Incomplete Work Notes Home | Behavior, Absence, Extra Practice

OOPS! parent notes are a quick and easy way to communicate with parents about their child's incomplete classwork or homework! Just staple the OOPS! note to the classwork or homework page, check off the appropriate boxes from the checklist, and send it home with the student!

In my classroom I use these OOPS! notes as a quick way to communicate with parents about incomplete school work. These mini checklists work especially well for those teachers who no longer assign regular nightly homework to their students, as well. With the OOPS! notes, homework can be assigned on a case-by-case basis with ease. I have found that with the use of OOPS! notes incomplete classwork or extra practice homework is consistently coming back completed by the next school day with a parent’s signature!

This resource is EDITABLE! This resource now includes a Google Drive link for you to edit the OOPS! notes that you need in your classroom!

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Two options for OOPS! notes (black and white background or color options):

• OPTION 1 contains an incomplete work checklist that centers around lack of focus or a behavior concern in the classroom (with and without a parent signature request)
• OPTION 2 contains an incomplete work checklist that centers around absences, time spent out of the classroom, or extra practice needed on a skill (with and without a parent signature request)
• In-class missing work notes that can be used to notify students of their missing work
• Google Drive link to all of the above notes so that you can edit them to suit your needs
