Description

This packet includes 10 pages of matching (with 4-6 pictures per page), all of the pieces to match, as well as directions on how to put together and utilize in your classroom. These matching sheets cover the topics colors, shapes, places, animals, food, fruit, vegetables, instruments, transportation, and toys.

I put a few of these at a time in a binder and use it as literacy work for some of my lowest functioning students. They complete the sheets each day as a part of my literacy station. Then, I switch out the sheets whenever I want to change things up.

If you have more than one page in a binder, kids learn to turn pages (like in a book) to complete their work. I have seen this happen with some of my lowest functioning students. It is a lot more space efficient and functional to learn this type of work station than using big 3-bin drawers. You can use a token board, or put something rewarding on their schedule for after your student completes his/her work!
