These Earth themed letter and number cards and puzzles are a great Earth Day or space activity for preschool and kindergarten students. Students can practice letter and number recognition by matching capital and lowercase letters and matching numbers and number words up to 20.

Ways to Use the Cards:
- Matching Game: Match capital and lowercase letters or numbers to the number words.
- Fishing Game: Attach a paper clip to the card and use a magnetic fishing pole to "catch" the letters or numbers.
- Salt/Sand Tray: Use these cards as a model to show students what to write in the sand.
- Letter or Number Hunts: Have students find the letters or numbers that you have hidden around the room.
- ABC Order or Number Order: Have students place letters or numbers in the correct order.
- Pocket Chart Game: Place the cards into a pocket chart and hide a picture behind one of the cards. Have students guess which card the hidden picture is behind.
