On this trip, you will start by visiting the story adventure map! The map will guide you through jumping into 3 of our FAVORITE Earth Day Stories:
- I Can Save the Earth
- We are the Water Protectors
- Why Should I Recycle?
You will hear the story or what the story is about. Complete an activity or two and learn beyond the story. For example, in We are the Water Protectors, you will get to learn more about Standing Rock and the Dakota Pipeline, learn how to conserve water, find out how water isn't an endless resource, and create a digital collage of the ways we use water.
Students will respond, create, think, and absorb so much information it will be hard to fit in to one day!
Students will believe you are the most AMAZING teacher... which YOU are! Learn real facts and information on your NO WHEELS FIELD TRIP!
This is perfect for grade levels 2-5 independently. K-1 will need support for reading materials and a typed answers. However, I would still use this with K-1 students because they love learning and reading!
