Description

These Earth Day-themed, no prep, short passages are excellent for second and third graders to practice close reading! Your students will be able to practice with 10 fiction passages and 10 nonfiction passages. The passages are engaging and will motivate students to read. Each passage has 3-4 text-based questions and one written response, text-dependent question! A digital version is included!

Earth Day BUNDLE (2nd & 3rd)

Passage Topics:

In the nonfiction passages the students will read about "going green" and ways to help our Earth! In the fictional passages, your students read about Miss Berg's students. They've been tasked to come up with different ways and ideas to help the earth. Each passage introduces a new student and his/her idea to help the earth. The digital and the print version contain the same passages.
