Description

Ban the Disposable Water Bottle Eco Club initiative to help your Eco team teach the school about the importance of reducing single use plastics. Bright, colourful posters, editable letter for parents, writing activity, classroom check lists and ideas.

Whether your looking for a campaign for your Eco team to bring Eco awareness to your whole school or you need a campaign that involves the whole school for Earth Day or World Water Day, the ban the disposable bottle campaign is a great way to teach the students how they can make a difference with one simple act while also providing a great Earth Day activity.

This is a great Earth day or Earth Month campaign that your school can run for a week or a month, however long you wish it to be. You can also run it during the week of world water day which is typically in March or during world ocean day which is typically in June. This package is a good one for your Eco Team to run, everything you need to have a successful ban the disposable water bottle campaign is included.

INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE

• 1 BAN THE DISPOSABLE WATER BOTTLE WEEKLY CLASSROOM CHECK LIST

Have the students use this weekly check list to track how many students in each

classroom are bringing reusable water bottles and how many are using disposable

water bottles.

• 1 BAN THE DISPOSABLE WATER BOTTLE MONITORS ID BADGES

Make wearable laminated ban the bottle monitor id badges for the students assigned

to check the classrooms at lunch.

Use this certificate to award the classroom that used the least amount of disposable

water bottles during your campaign.

Edit the PDF to tell parents about your ban the disposable water bottle campaign and

how it is going to run. There is a lot of room on this form as all the text on the note

home is editable. Making it easy to personalized it to fit your school’s campaign. You

can also re-edit this note to send home to announce who the winning classroom was.

• 2 BAN THE DISPOSABLE WATER BOTTLE POSTERS

Use these 8.5x11 Ban the disposable water bottle posters to remind students of your

to laminate these so you can use them again the next year.

Before starting the campaign you can use the resource sheet to talk to your students

about why it is important to use reusable water bottles and the effects disposable

water bottles have on our earth. It helps to create a deeper connection for the students.

Use these drawing and writing activities to help the students discover what they have

learned and how they can help reduce the use of disposable water bottles. They make

a great class hall display during ban the bottle week.
