Description

The early presidents of the United States (1789-1837) are recognized for

their foreign and domestic polices that helped our country become a strong nation. Through their leadership, these founding fathers led the country through its beginning by establishing the first republican form of government that has become the strongest in the world today.

Using the information from the documents and their knowledge

of United States history, students will answer the questions that follow each document. The answers to these questions will help students answer the essay question, To what extent did the early presidents build a strong nation through their leadership on

domestic and foreign policies?
