ESL Picture Book

This is a pictionary with 153 pages that can be used for ESL, vocabulary development, countless activities, etc, and in relation to the many topics or subjects that it treats such as Art, English Language Arts, History, and various branches of Science.

Some indirect ways of using the material would be for example if you used only the vocabulary words centered upon a given theme (e.g. medicine) and then used those as a basis for readings, dialogues, skits and essay prompts; word searches, scrambled words activities, etc.

Some of the word or theme groups are for holidays and the seasons. So, for example, during the winter you could use some of the images for topical discussions, ornamenting worksheets or quizzes, etc.

All the material is usable for helping to more quickly and easily educate all age groups from pre-K through 12 and beyond.

To show you just how effective this can be for you and the students, if leaving a day a week for testing, then given 4 days per week when multiplied by 9 weeks that is 36 days a school quarter; further, 36 days times the 4 school quarters equals 144 days. And yes, as said, this has more than 144 pages of material! It's a real work horse that can be used all the time and for endless years in your career.

Although I taught mostly ESL pre-K through 8 I know may other ESL 9-12, college and adult teachers and instructors who have also found similar products extremely valuable. Honestly this is far better though than any other such ESL product that I've ever seen.
