These are not boring, lengthy grammar drills. As an ESL teacher, I want to spend the majority of my time working with scaffolded grade-level content. But my students do need some explicit grammar instruction too! That's why I've created these 10-minute mini-lessons to teach grammar in a quick, engaging way, leaving plenty of time for other content.
Each lesson is one slide and presents one new grammar skill. The worksheets take a short amount of time and incorporate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Includes pdf and Google Slide versions. To access the Google Slides, open the zip file and the pdf file called "Google Drive Links." Then click on the links to make a copy of the resource.
This bundle includes all 10 of my beginner grammar units and teaches the following skills:
- the verb "to be"
- subject pronouns (I, you, he/she, we, they)
- capitalization of the beginning of a sentence, the pronoun "I", and proper nouns
- end punctuation (periods and question marks)
- possessive pronouns (my, your, his/her, our, their)
- the possessive apostrophe -s
- plural nouns

- possessive pronouns after the noun (mine, yours, his/hers, ours, theirs)
