What educators are saying

These mini-lessons allowed for a grammar lesson to be easily integrated into my daily block schedule. My students learned so much but were not overwhelmed or bored.
It's always a risk when trying a product from someone you never ordered from before, but this has been one of those fabulous purchases that my high school students love working with. It's straightforward and works well with my entering through transitioning ELLs.

    Description

Need grammar lessons for your newcomer or beginner ESL students, but don't have a curriculum? This complete printable and digital set of 70 grammar mini-lessons and worksheets has you covered!

These are not boring, lengthy grammar drills. As an ESL teacher, I want to spend the majority of my time working with scaffolded grade-level content. But my students do need some explicit grammar instruction too! That's why I've created these 10-minute mini-lessons to teach grammar in a quick, engaging way, leaving plenty of time for other content.

Each lesson is one slide and presents one new grammar skill. The worksheets take a short amount of time and incorporate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

Includes pdf and Google Slide versions. To access the Google Slides, open the zip file and the pdf file called "Google Drive Links." Then click on the links to make a copy of the resource.

This bundle includes all 10 of my beginner grammar units and teaches the following skills:

    • the verb "to be"
    • subject pronouns (I, you, he/she, we, they)
    • capitalization of the beginning of a sentence, the pronoun "I", and proper nouns
    • end punctuation (periods and question marks)
