Description

Thank you for shopping here! This is the sixth unit I do with my newcomers and is part of an 11 unit curriculum you can find here. I teach it in a little over five weeks in 80 minute block periods. It covers family vocabulary as well as adjectives that describe people. There are two projects: a Family Tree Project (rubric included) and an “All About My Family” Project (rubric also included). There is also a summative test that includes vocabulary and grammar. The digital resources are compatible with Google Classroom. They are Google Slides.

This unit reviews creating questions using “when,” subject pronoun + be-verb contractions, the future tense, and the present progressive tense. It introduces the helping verbs can, may, must, should, placing adjectives before nouns, comparative adjectives, and superlative adjectives.
