Description
Do you need an engaging way to teach the elements of drama? If so, this is the product for you! This is an interactive notebook lesson that I use to teach the elements of drama to my students. The notebook includes the following elements:
- Table of contents
- Elements of drama terms to define or take notes under the flap. The terms that are included on these pages are: script, act, scene, stage directions, theme, plot, playbill, and cast
- Identification activity: students are given several pictures and asked to identify the element of drama that each picture (clipart) represents
- Quick check: students are given a fill-in-the-blank page to review the material they have learned
- Color Clouds: students will match the correct drama term with the terminology cloud by coloring the cloud the corresponding color.
-This resource is especially helpful to my lower level students as it provided plenty of exposure to the material at hand and reviewed the terminology in different ways.
-Also included:
*Detailed teacher instructions and suggestions for how to use each page in the notebook
*Answer Key for all activity pages
*Student instructions for setting up the interactive notebook pages in a binder or composition book
