ELA Writing Alternate Assessments for Special Education Autism

Common Core aligned Smart Board Presentations, Activities, Assessments, and Artifacts to teach and assess students with special needs, giving them access to grade-level standards. These artifacts are cut and paste sentence strips with increasing numbers of lines and increasing difficulty in vocabulary and numbers of words in the sentences. All artifacts can be made with the included clip art to illustrate the paragraphs. I use the Smart Board slides to teach the lesson and to model sequencing title and sentence strips to form a paragraph and placement of illustrations. Then I give the students their sentence strips to paste on a template or on construction paper.
I have used these or similar artifacts (always cut and paste) for Georgia Alternate Assessments for 2nd thru 8th grades for the past 5 years and the students have always gotten good scores. If you see any corrections that need to be made or if you need any help, please contact me thru TPT.
