Short Story “Christmas Everyday” – The story is four pages long. It can be printed on two pages front and back. Of course, it's also included as a Google Doc in case you want to go paperless!
Comprehension multiple choice questions – There are fifteen multiple choice questions about the story. A printable version is included as well as a link to a self-grading Google Form version.
Setting Analysis – Students will read about what a setting includes and determine whether the setting in this story affects the characters and plots
Parts of Plot – Handouts explaining the structure of plot are included as well as a handout where students can record the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution of this story.
Find Textual Evidence Activity – Students will find evidence to support four statements about the story.
Objective Summary – Handouts on how to write an objective summary are included along with a sample objective summary. Students will write an objective summary for this story. A sample summary for this story is included as well.
“Christmas Everyday” I Am Poem – Students will follow the pattern to write their own poem about the story. A rubric is included for grading it.

This packet includes a note-taking guide for students to use while viewing the movie A Christmas Carol – the 2009 Disney version featuring the voice of Jim Carrey as Scrooge. There is a 30 multiple choice question test included along with the answer key. This movie is based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel A Christmas Carol.
This test is solely on the 2009 Disney movie and not any other version of the story. It is simply a test to use to make sure that students paid attention while watching the movie. Perfect for the last days before Christmas break!
