FAQs

Q: Is this editable?

A: This classroom decor is not 100% editable. However, there are many blank backgrounds included that will allow you to edit by adding your own text or images in Microsoft PowerPoint. For Windows users, the fonts are embedded. There are also links for matching fonts included for optional downloads for all users.

Q: Are the editable items compatible with Google Slides or other apps, or is Microsoft PowerPoint the only option?

A: At this time, due to my design process, Microsoft PowerPoint is the only program with which these files are compatible. You must have Microsoft PowerPoint to edit.

Q: Can the PDFs be edited in Adobe or another PDF editor?

A: No, the PDF files are locked and cannot be added to or changed in any way.

Q: Can the editable items be used on both Windows and Mac operating systems?

A: Yes, as long as the items are being edited in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Q: Will I receive anything in the mail? 

A: No, this product is 100% a digital download that you will print and cut out yourself.

Q: What type of printer is recommended for printing these decorations, and are there any specific printing instructions?

A: Any reliable color printer will print these decorations just fine. If you’re looking for the best quality, you’ll want to send your files to a print shop like Office Depot or Kinkos, but this isn’t required. 

Q: Do I need to print all these materials on cardstock or special paper?

A: Any and all of the files will print just fine on plain letter-size printer paper. However, I do recommend printing the pennants on cardstock so that they won’t curl up.

Q: Can I resize the backgrounds and other elements to fit different areas of my classroom?

A: You can certainly make any of the items smaller, by changing the size percentage on your printer’s settings. If you want to enlarge items, keep in mind that they’re designed as 8.5x11” size and may lose some quality if you try to print them much larger, but they can probably handle a slight size increase.

Q: Is there a limit to how many times I can print the items, or do I have unlimited access after purchasing?

A: Once you’ve purchased the files, they’re yours for life to print as many copies as you need. As long as you’re printing for your own personal use, there are no restrictions.

Q: Can I share this decor download with my partner teacher for their classroom?

A: By purchasing this printable classroom decor, you are purchasing a single user license for one classroom. If additional teachers need access to the decor for additional classrooms, please purchase one copy for each teacher. (If you need multiple copies, consider purchasing on TPT where you are able to get a discount for additional licenses.)

Q: It says this decor is for middle or high school. Can I use this in my elementary classroom?

A: Many elementary teachers have purchased and enjoyed my decor. However, please keep in mind, the decor sets do not include items like behavior charts, name tags, alphabet flashcards, etc. Also, the fonts are often not elementary-friendly, and the clip art and overall style is generally geared toward teens. If you’re ok with all of these limitations, feel free to purchase for your elementary classroom.

Q: Can you create a custom design for me?

A: Thanks for asking! Unfortunately, I’m unable to do custom designs at this time.
