ECOSYSTEM Organization - Levels of the Environment, Biotic vs. Abiotic, Ecology

Students will learn about ecosystem organization.
Students will be able to identify biotic and abiotic factors in the ecosystem.
Students will be able to explain the relationships between individual organisms, populations, communities, ecosystems, biomes, and the biosphere.
Students will use resources (internet sites, textbooks, trade books, reference books) to determine the types of biotic and abiotic factors present in their organism’s environment.
Students will demonstrate their understanding by choosing an organism in a particular biome and adding appropriate illustrations to a diagram.
