What educators are saying
Bought this well into the school year but I plan to make booklets for next year to house all of their vocab from start to finish. They're a great way to remediate kids have vocabulary in random parts of their notebooks. For now my students staple/glue them in.
This is one of my favourite dictionaries to use as it not only has students write the words, but create a picture and a sentence. It's much more engaging and therefor more likely that they will remember what it means!
Description
This document includes spaces to write down eight vocabulary words in the target language and their English translations. I included two boxes that I use for (1) using the word in a sentence and (2) drawing a sketch. Because you can use them for anything, I did not label them.
Dictionary pages are provided in Spanish-English and French-English PDFs, and an editable document is included so that the dictionary can be modified to suit your purposes and/or for other languages. A detailed explanation of how I use the dictionary in my classes is also included.
