Description
This project is perfect for French students who are learning the rooms of the house. Students write using present tense French reflexive verbs, so it is a great review and/or assessment for this structure. Plus, students have the choice of three projects to help teach a variety of learning styles! Entire document comes in English or French!
Students create a project based on their interests:
* A Powerpoint or other computer based project
* A video
* A poster and written paragraph
This is a perfect summative assessment when teaching French reflexive verbs or a French house unit!
In this project, students design their dream homes and present them in French using the format of their choice. To incorporate verb structures and vocabulary from a la maison unit, students describe the use of each room using present tense French reflexive verbs when appropriate.
Directions for each project and a grading rubric are included.
Pre-writing pages are included to help guide the writing process and keep your students' work organized as they begin the project.
I have included the project with the number of rooms, furnishings, and point values that I use. I have also included a second copy of the same assignment with EDITABLE FORM FIELDS if you would prefer to change the point values.
Two writing rubrics are included: a traditional grid rubric and a one-column rubric. Also includes a grid speaking rubric.
