Dream House Project in Spanish Realidades 1 Chapter 6

This is a project for level 1 Spanish using the Realidades 1 textbook, Chapter 6. However, it can easily be tailored for any language during a unit focused around the home.

This project has students design their dream home and describe it using vocabulary they have learned about the house! It is written with detailed, specific and easy-to-follow instructions and includes a complete rubric (4 pages total). It could be used to supplement the Chapter 6 unit on the home or be used as an exciting teaching tool for about a week's worth of planning material (which is how I use it) depending on the age/level of your students. I use it in my Spanish 1 class.

Students have the choice of designing their dream home themselves and describing it in Spanish or giving a tour of their own home. They are given complete, specific instructions and expectations on how to do so.
