Drawing in a Bottle - Art Project and Presentation

Get your students excited about art with this fun and creative trend of creating a drawing inside of a bottle! Students will be challenged to create such a drawing using space, value and emphasis. A 16-slide PowerPoint presentation is included, packed with information about the art elements and principle of design required to complete this work of art. Your students will learn how to create value using three different shading techniques (hatching, cross-hatching and stippling) and will use them in their drawing. The slide show includes detailed instructions, with step-by-step visuals to walk your students from start to finish of the project. Also included are questions to ask your class to promote critical thinking, tips and recommendations for teachers in the slide notes. Eight printable bottle images and one printable "Shading Practice" worksheet are included.
