Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Coloring Book and Reader for Preschool - 1st Grade

This packet contains 4 pages of printables (plus a terms of use page to make for a total of 5 pages) in order to be able to make an eight page storybook about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with graphics that can also be colored in by students.

Purchasing this gives you the license to use it with one family, one co-op class, or in one single classroom. (Please purchase two copies in order to be able to use it in a whole school, parish, or religious education setting. You can do this by either purchasing two copies or by adding one additional license to your purchase of one packet.)

This packet includes pages that would be age-appropriate for children in preschool through 1st grade, though it may also be right for children who are older depending on their specific educational needs.

Note: There is also a version of this for 2nd - 5th grade students that includes a longer story with more details. (Both stories were written by me for this project, so they may not be reproduced by anyone for use in other projects.)

★ Four pages of story and coloring pages. Each full page actually makes two pages of the book, so the Dr. King book for kids is eight half-pages long.

The booklet includes a front page that can be colored, six pages with a story about Dr. King's life with graphics that can be colored (with a border around each page that can also be colored). The back cover of the book is blank (other than copyright information.)

To assemble your printable Dr. King book for kids, you can pick two options:

1. You can duplex print the pages - the first and second on one page and the third and fourth on another page. Then, fold and place the 3rd/4th page sheet inside the 1st/2nd page sheet. You can use a long reach stapler to staple them together.

2. You can print each of the four pages on their own sheet of paper and then just cut the pages in half. You can then put them in a stack to make a booklet and staple them together.
