What educators are saying

Great poem to add to my collection of poetry for primary students. Will continue to use this with my kindergarten to grade 3 students.

Description

Dr. King is the perfect poem to teach kids about getting along.

Use in a poetry notebook, as the poem of the week, to anchor friendship and MLK lessons, or let the kids color to present their poems on a bulletin board display.

After I introduce the poem, my kids LOVE going to the Build a Poem: Dr. King pocket chart center. They use the word cards to build the poem, then present it to the class :)

** This includes 2 versions. One with "color" and one with "colour".
