Description
Down by the Bay is a favorite preschool and kindergarten circle time song. This product has been differentiated so that you can use it with a wide variety of students.
Simple circle time songs are a great way to have students do a choral reading, They are a great way to introduce vocabulary and language to your students. The simple text is easy to memorize and the stanzas are short. The repeating sentence structure assists the student in memorizing the song.
I find that I have a variety of students that I work with and having the same story in several different editions helps to support all my students. I store them in a folder then give each child the edition that is appropriate for them at circle time.
