Double-Digit Multiplication: Graphic Organizer/Process Chart

This is a great tool to use when teaching students how to multiply double-digit numbers by double-digit numbers. The included graphic organizer mirrors a house (bottom floor, top floor, attic, and basement) to create relevancy and spark interest. The accompanying process chart is comprised of four clear, student-friendly steps. It sits right next to the graphic organizer so students can see both at once. A creative phrase is given in step two to help students remember. I used this with my 4th and 5th graders and it truly helped them master multiplication! (PDF File).
