Activity 3: Dress For Success: Students calculate their budget for the necessary clothing for dog sled racing.
Activity 4: Equipment Round Up: Students choose from a variety of equipment they will need and stick to a budget. They also write about their reasons for choosing the items.
Activity 5: Planning the Route: Students use a trail map and distance chart to plan their route. They answer questions
Activity 6: Post Cards From the Trail: Students create and write a postcard to a friend describing their adventures on the trail.
Activity 7: On Your Mark, Get Set, Go!: Students use their time telling skills to answer questions about their race time.
