FLASHCARDS are a simple, versatile, yet often under-valued resource. There is so much more that can be done than merely ‘repeat after me’!
FLASHCARDS, particularly if they are bright and colourful, are an important visual aid for memory, and greatly appeal to visual learners.
Laminating flashcards, and playing cards too, is recommended for long life!
Once you have the sets, they can be kept on hand and used in so many ways.
PLAYING CARDS also have various uses beyond ‘Memory’!
This resource will explain a variety of ways in which these simple resources can be used in ways which engage students and further develop their language skills.
I hope you will try some new ideas out!
