Distance Learning Text Feature Hunt and Description Cards Posters

fallingfordealsbundles Text Feature Hunt activities that have students go on hunts in books (or any text of your choice) to find title, table of contents, heading, bold print, photograph, label, caption, glossary and index.

Pages have definitions and examples of each type of text feature at the top. One page is given to just find the text feature. Another page asks the students to both find the text features and explain what they learn from the text feature. Another page is given to find one example of each text feature without definitions and examples being given.

File is provided in Publisher so you can pick and choose which pages you want to include or can adjust the wording.

Text Feature Cards/Posters all have under the sea theme and include the same descriptions and examples as on the text feature hunt pages. There are two copies of each text feature card/poster - one with a blue background and one with a white background. This file is in Publisher.

Text Feature Worksheets Activities or Assessment have a variety of activities and sample answers. Activities range from very open ended to more scaffolded with things like word banks included.
