Description
This movie is a great tool to build your students' self-esteem! It can be shown in ANY class, with nearly any age student. Aside from literally turning into a giant red panda, this movie is very relatable to students of all ages! Just like all students, Mei is going through a lot of changes in her teenage years. She has to balance being the perfect kid for her mother with her desire to put her happiness and independence first. It is a beautiful story about family, friends, and the journey from being a young girl to a young woman. Plus, there is tons of comic relief!
I purposefully only made this worksheet 15 questions because I want my students to truly enjoy the movie without being stressed over missing any questions/answers! The questions are spaced out well, and I also added in a "pre" and "post" question to spark discussion and allow your students to reflect.
