Directed drawings are great projects for the classroom that help kids learn to focus, follow directions, and draw! This calendar was created with fun hand-lettering, and was designed with a large drawing window to give students plenty of room to create.
The calendar pages can be used as separate projects throughout the year, to highlight a particular month or holiday; or they can be used as a set to create the entire calendar.
These drawings vary in difficulty. This set can be used for Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Homeschool, 1st & 2nd grade and +.

* Calendar pages for each month of the years 2023 and 2024. Calendar pages have large drawing windows that give students plenty of room to create their drawings following step-by-step guides. The drawing windows come in 4 variations for differentiation.

Calendar pages are 8 1/2 x 11. They are High-quality • 300 dpi • PDFs
The Calendar can be printed on standard copy paper, but a heavier substance is preferable if using markers or paints.
Variations in Drawing Windows allow for differentiation and time constraints.
Variation 1. These drawing windows are unfilled and ready for students to make their mark.
Variation 2. These drawing windows contain the first step of each directed drawing. This establishes size and placement of the drawing and gives struggling students a confident start. Students will complete the remaining steps of the drawings following the step-by-step guides.
Variation 3. These drawing windows contain the entire image of each directed drawing in gray tone. Students can trace the gray lines with or without following the step-by-step instructions. (Note: some copy machines may not print gray tones well, or at all. Please, check your copier before making copies of this set of calendar pages.)
Variation 4. These drawing windows contain the full image of each directed drawing in black line. Students will not draw in these windows, but color in the images. This set is useful when time is short, or for students who were absent and need to make up the project. These pages can also be used as samples to show what the completed drawings will look like.
Variations in Step by Step Drawing Guides allow for an additional layer of differentation.
Variation 1. This set of step-by-step drawing guides is in black line and contains 6 steps for each drawing.
Variation 2. In this set of step-by-step drawing guides, the step to be drawn is highlighted in gray line. Students will be able to immediately discern which steps to draw next. The set contains 6 steps for each drawing. (Note: some copy machines may not print gray tones well or at all. Please test your copier before making copies of these drawing guides.)
