Dinosaurs Fossils Write the Room

Students extend their learning of dinosaurs and fossils with this write the room activity. This beginning science topic resource combines practice, movement, and fun. Hang the picture cards in various spots in your classroom. Your students then read and write the room using one of the three differentiated response sheets.

* There are 12 cards depicting some dinosaurs and fossils in both color and black/white.

* answer sheet

* 3 differentiated response sheets for each set (with picture cues, without pictures, or trace the word)

* a writing and drawing extension response sheet is also included.

Be sure to preview the posters before using to see if there are any vocabulary words your particular students might not be familiar with.

♦ The resource can also be used as task cards at a writing center.

♦ You can also place them in sensory bin and have the students find them and record on the response sheets.

♦ For individualized use with students on the autism spectrum or other developmental delays, set up the desired number of cards in a work box.
