Description
The dinosaur lesson plan is probably my all-time favorite theme. I love the topic of dinosaurs, but the children's love of of those ginormous creatures and their enthusiasm for them never seems to fade.
I have included a full dinosaur-themed yoga lesson plan with all the Yogalore components, and have also included cards for you to customize this pose card set for your needs. There are two blank cards at the end of the deck.
The yoga cards consist of photos with children doing yoga poses. Most pose cards have a dinosaur fact and all the individual poses have a cute dinosaur of some kind. There are 18 individual dinosaur pose cards and directions for a fun frozen dinosaur egg sensory science activity.
My favorite part of this dinosaur theme lesson plan is the guided visualization for Rest & Relax. It's just a short story that you can read to the students when they are finished with yoga and need a few quiet minutes to unwind. It's a great way to encourage children to use their imaginations, listen to details of a story to process and visualize, all while relaxing.
I have included Terms of Use as well as printing tips in the .pdf. I hope you enjoy using this yoga pose card deck as much as I had making it and using it with my own students. Have a "ROOOOAAAAARRRRING" good time!
