What educators are saying

This has been a great resource for practicing specific high frequency words. I can easily assign them to individual students or the whole class on Seesaw. I can edit within Seesaw to delete some of the slides or add audio directions, as needed.
Fantastic resource for helping my online students work on sight word recognition. The Instant feedback is awesome too!

    Description

These digital sight word activities are perfect for sight word practice in the classroom or at home. This resource contains one set of 16 interactive sight word activities for each of the first and second Fry words. Words 1-200!

We put over 200 hours in creating these activities in the hope that it will fill a need and save you tons of time!

Do your students need extra sight word practice?

These are great for assigning extra practice for sight words. Each sight word has a set of 16 activities so students can independently learn, practice, and master the sight words. Please watch the video preview to learn more about what is included. Once they are finished, students can digitally submit their activities to the teacher, creating a paperless accountability system.

When should students use these activities?

These activities are great for literacy centers, homework, interventions, independent work, computer lab assignments, or fast finishers.

Can students complete these activities independently?

We intentionally made the activities for every sight word similar so students could focus on learning the new sight word instead of learning how to complete the activities.

These 100 Sight Words are Included in the first set:

a, about, all, an, and, are, as, at, be, been, but, by, called, can, come, could, day, did, do, down, each, find, first, for, from, get, go, had, has, have, he, her, him, his, how, I, if, in, into, is, it, like, long, look, made, make, many, may, more, my, no, not, now, number, of, oil, on, one, or, other, out, part, people, said, see, she, sit, so, some, than, that, the, their, them, then, there, these, they, this, time, to, two, up, use, was, water, way, we, were, what, when, which, who, will, with, words, would, write, you, your

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE PRELOADED FOR SEESAW AND GOOGLE SLIDES. JUST CLICK ON EACH WORD LINK TO ASSIGN TO STUDENTS. These are perfect for your blended or hybrid learning model.

An important note about pre-recorded audio:

We have pre-recorded the audio in Google Slides. Some districts block audio files they do not own, meaning the audio may not play for your students on this platform. In this case, we have no way to alter your district’s settings.

Students do not need the audio to complete the activities. Only the first slide, which introduces the word, and the last slide, which reviews the word are read to students. Audio is played when students click the audio icon.

As another note, the pre-recorded audio provided in the Seesaw platform does not seem to have the same issues. Please take this into consideration before making your purchase.
