Digital Photography Composition Handout, Art Activity, Middle, High School Photo

One of the basics of teaching digital photography is teaching the rules of composition. This photo assignment is simple, straightforward, and perfect for middle or high school art classes.

This product includes two versions of a printable handout/worksheet showing the seven rules of composition in digital photography: focal point, cropping, leading lines, framing, repetition, balance, and rules of thirds. The handouts are formatted to a black and white and color version. In addition, there is an assignment worksheet with project instructions and a rubric.

These photo handouts are easy to share virtually with students or as a critical thinking assignment in person, tasking students with referencing the handout and learning from doing.
