Description
These are Google Slides you can assign in Google Classrooms or share your screen and use it during your whole group synchronous learning time (e.g. Google Meet/Zoom). You can also download it as a PowerPoint file and use it on your SMARTBoard!
Some tips:
- If you are using this as an assignment in Google Classroom, make sure your students have the Google Slides app if they are working on an iPad/tablet. (They won't be able to manipulate the movable pieces otherwise).
- Make sure you use these slides in EDIT mode and not present mode, so the moveable pieces work

Slide 4: Let's Learn About Subtraction - An overview of the subtraction strategies: use your fingers, use manipulatives, draw a picture, count back and use a number line.

Slide 6-15: Use Manipulatives - Solve the subtraction sentence using the digital manipulatives. Type the answer in to the yellow box.

Slides 17-26: Cross It Out! - Solve the subtraction sentence by covering the picture with X's. Type the answer into the yellow box.
