DIGITAL HASHTAG LEARNING WALL-AN ENTIRE YEAR!
This is a individualized learning wall that allows students to keep track of and highlight all of the concepts they learn throughout the year! There is a different page dedicated for each month of the year. Students will digitally record learning concepts (or on the paper version if you wish), and develop HASHTAGS. Believe it or not, hashtags are a GREAT way to highlight key information and summarize different concepts. Students can be as creative as they like when developing hashtags to describe their learning!
DIGITAL HASHTAG WRITING PROJECT
This is Hashtag Writing Project is perfect for Back to School time since it allows students to introduce themselves through writing and developing their own hashtags based on their experiences! This is a GREAT way to get to know your students at the beginning of the year AND a terrific bulletin board for Back to School Night!

DIGITAL READING LOG #LOVETOREAD
Students will not only record their reading, but they will also be able to record comprehension skills that they are learning in class and apply them to their daily reading. Students will start the year with a reading survey so that they can familiarize themselves with their reading "tastes" and then move on to recording the genres of books they read, completing book murals when they are done with books, creating a growing figurative language mural when they encounter similes and metaphors in books, and finally tackling comprehension skills as they read independently!
