Why use grading digital stickers?

Grading is time consuming and necessary, however the demands on teachers to give a lengthy feedback is increasing due to meticulous objectives that the lessons are centred around. I have found myself repeating core comments before adding personalised feedback. This pack has helped me acknowledge the achievement of students relating to the task at hand and then I am able to give a more personalised comment to a student in the comment section. I add this to their work and then below on the See saw app or through Google classroom and I can save time and give more clear and child-friendly feedback. I hope this saves you time too.

These comments are differentiated to show positive achievement but realistic assessment of work. For example to show that students are beginning to master a skill or that they had some adult support to the more able students who have been able to meet their objectives so this is acknowledged.


These assessments stickers are also useful when I look back at student's work when i am writing report cards / reports. Some schools require two school reports a year and these have also helped me to give structured useful feedback to parents when it is early in the school year and I am getting to know a student and what they can do.

For new teachers and student teachers, this is a convenient way to familiarize yourself with the language and structure of feedback.

Although these stickers are aimed at Grade Two, the comments are general enough to be used in other year groups.
