Digital Fluency Passages for Google Classroom CVCe Magic e

Beginning readers need practice segmenting words, reading sight words, and developing reading fluency. This little bundle includes seven magic e fluency passages and comprehension questions to teach and reinforce CVCe words. Each passage will have students laughing and having fun while building fluency and focusing on comprehension.

This digital resource is created in google slides. Students can click on the microphone and the passage is read to them. If you do not want the passage to be read to your students, the sound can be removed in google slides before assigning the passage to you students. (I plan to leave the microphone, but also ask my students to read the passage over and over until they are fluent. I also plan to ask them to record themselves reading the passage! I really think this will give my students the practice they need to build fluency as they apply these new phonics skills.) While using each passage, students will drag and drop lines to underline all of the words with the phonics pattern. They will type their answers directly on the google slide. To complete each word sort, students will move each word in the word bank to the correct group.
